Dear Members
In the process of restructuring the registry, the word of many rumors on internet sites has reached our office.
The fact is that the Friesian Sport Horse Registry is alive and continuing to serve its members.
Rumors that it has died, or merged or what ever are incorrect. The FSHR has not merged with anyone, nor has it died.
This is America and if a few breeders wish to start up a new registry, there is nothing that this registry would do to stop them. The FSHR is asking any new registry to please stay positive in their language. The FSHR will not insult or degrade any new registry. The FSHR is the oldest and biggest Friesian cross Registry and will remain so. The FSHR began in 1996 and has registered over 5000 horses.
A new website will be constructed in the upcoming weeks. We are a small Registry compared to the giant registries like the AQHA or even a smaller registry like the Morgan Association. The registry needs help from all of its members. Now that the past president has resigned, she has taken pages off the website and now in the next few weeks will dismantle the entire site. The Registry will reconstruct a new site that is easier to navigate with the help of its faithful members.
The Registry is asking members for sites to host Inspections. If you have a site that has an indoor and are willing to host an Inspection, give the Registry a call.
Again, the Friesian Sport Horse Registry is alive and working hard to promote your horses. The Registry is still affiliated with the USDF and USEF. We will still promote an Open Awards program and we will still affiliate with FOA to promote an Inspection Tour.
If you have any questions, please contact the Registry. The Registry will set the record straight.
Don't forget our name..Friesian Sport Horse Registry
Thank you
Kris Gabriel
President
